At ColorSeed.co, we believe that your data belongs to you. Our platform is designed to be a "privacy-first" tool. This policy explains how we handle information and, more importantly, what we do not collect.

1. The "No-Storage" Commitment

Our core philosophy is built on data minimization.

  • Prompts: We do not store the text prompts you enter to generate colors. The conversion from text to color happens in real-time and is not logged in a database of user ideas.
  • Images: We do not host, store, or "stock" any images. If you use a feature involving an image, the data is processed locally or in-session and is destroyed immediately after.
  • No-AI Training: Because we do not use Artificial Intelligence, your creative inputs are never used to train machine learning models.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to keep the website functional:

  • Technical Logs: Like most websites, our hosting providers (Vercel) may collect basic log data such as IP addresses, browser types, and timestamps to prevent abuse and monitor site health.
  • Cookies: We may use essential functional cookies to remember your preferences (such as Dark Mode settings). We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on industry-leading infrastructure to power ColorSeed.co. Each of these services has its own privacy standards:

  • Vercel: Used for deployment and hosting.
  • Supabase: Used for backend infrastructure. While we do not store your creative content here, Supabase manages essential technical database functions.
  • GitHub: Used for managing our source code and version control.

4. Data Security

Even though we do not store your personal content, we take security seriously. By using Vercel and Supabase, your connection to ColorSeed.co is encrypted via SSL (HTTPS) to ensure that the data traveling between your browser and our infrastructure remains secure.

5. Your Rights

Since we do not store your text prompts or images, we generally do not have "records" of your activity to delete or export. However, if you have contacted us via email, you have the right to request the deletion of that correspondence at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

ColorSeed.co is a tool for designers and creators of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. Since we do not require accounts or store prompts, the platform is inherently safe for all users.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our infrastructure or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a new "Effective Date."
